Each platform undergoes a comprehensive assessment to identify wear, corrosion, structural damage, missing components, and any areas that require attention. As no two refurbishments are the same, all refurbishment costs are determined at the discretion of Load Angel following inspection of the equipment. A detailed quotation will be provided before any work is undertaken.
Where the estimated cost of refurbishment is likely to exceed the original purchase price of the product, we will always discuss the findings with you before proceeding. In these circumstances, we will recommend the most practical and cost-effective solution, which may include replacing the platform with a new Load Angel product rather than carrying out an uneconomical refurbishment.
If any major components are found to be beyond safe or economical repair, they will require complete replacement to ensure the platform can be returned to service safely. In cases where the equipment has sustained significant structural damage, severe corrosion, or other defects that compromise its integrity, refurbishment may no longer be a viable option. In these instances, Load Angel reserves the right to recommend a full product replacement rather than carrying out repairs that cannot guarantee the required level of safety and performance.
