Returns & Cancellations Policy

This Returns & Cancellations Policy outlines how Load Angel, a trading name of Grantham Fabrications and Profile Services (“we”, “us”, “our”), handles order cancellations, returns, and refunds.

We manufacture both standard and bespoke access and safety solutions. Due to the nature of our products, this policy is structured to be clear, fair, and realistic.

1. Cancellations

1.1 Before Design Approval

Orders may be cancelled prior to design approval or confirmation of specifications. In this case, a full refund may be issued.

1.2 After Design Approval (Bespoke Orders)

Once drawings, concepts, or specifications have been approved by the customer, work is considered authorised to proceed.

If you cancel at this stage, we reserve the right to:

  • Retain any design or consultation fees

  • Deduct costs for time, materials, and preparation already incurred

1.3 After Manufacture Has Started

Once fabrication or production has begun, orders cannot be cancelled. This is due to the custom nature of the products and material commitment.

2. Returns

2.1 Standard Products

Returns may be accepted for standard, non-bespoke items at our discretion, provided that:

  • The item is unused

  • The item is in its original condition

  • The return is requested within a reasonable timeframe

Approved returns may be subject to restocking or handling fees.

2.2 Bespoke & Custom Products

Bespoke, made-to-order, or customised products are non-returnable and non-refundable.

This includes any product manufactured to specific dimensions, site requirements, or customer specifications.

3. Damaged or Faulty Goods

If your product arrives damaged or is found to have a manufacturing defect:

  • You must notify us as soon as possible

  • We may request photographic evidence

  • We will assess the issue and determine an appropriate resolution

Resolutions may include:

  • Repair

  • Replacement

  • Partial or full refund (at our discretion)

We will always aim to resolve issues quickly and fairly.

4. Return Process

All returns must be authorised by us prior to being sent back.

Where a return is approved:

  • The customer is responsible for return shipping or collection costs unless agreed otherwise

  • Items must be securely packaged to prevent damage in transit

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.

5. Refunds

Refunds (where applicable) will be processed once:

  • Returned goods have been received and inspected

  • Any applicable deductions have been applied

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

6. Important Notes

  • All bespoke work is carried out based on approved drawings and specifications

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all details are correct before approval

  • Changes after approval may not be possible or may incur additional costs
